Business relation between Univera and Intermec dates back to the year of 1992. Intermec Co. (USA) had tested many models for distributorship during this time and a new contract was made in July 2006. According to this contract, Univera Co. assigned Intermec as its business partner and global service provider having the authority for technical services and direct import Intermec is one of the two leading companies engaged in AD/DC systems’ sector across the world and invented the most frequently used barcode standards like Code 39 and Code 128. It is well-known in the sector especially due to its structure including the whole product range (printers, terminals, scanners). Intermec has made significant R&D investments on the subject of RF-ID in recent years. At the most recently, it specified major standards of Gen 2 Technology in RF-ID and it obtained many patents on this matter.

HP

As known, HP Co. (USA) is one of the largest computer companies in the world. Univera makes business with HP for mobile handheld terminals since it announced HP’s first iPAQs. Univera is HP’s preferred partner and one of the three members of Mobile Living Platform. Univera was rewarded with “The Most Successful Mobile Business Partner of the Year” in 2005 due to its high performance.

Motorola

Motorola-Symbol (USA) is one of the two leading companies engaged in AD/DC systems’ sector across the world and invented laser barcode scanners. Motorola-Symbol dominating especially the laser barcode scanners seriously has contributed to the sector with its new products that it recently introduced to the market like handheld terminals and RF systems. Univera has been existed in the list of Motorola-Symbol’s business partners since 2003.

Toshiba

Toshiba Co. (Japan), whose previous name was TEC, is one of the largest AD/DC companies. It is one of the companies under the management of Toshiba Electronics Group, which has a worldwide fame, and has specialized only on barcode printers. It is a leading company in certain market segments especially with its low-cost, long life printers. Univera has been selling Toshiba printers since 1995 and it is Toshiba (TEC)’s the regional support centre.
